- A manhunt was declared in northern Thailand on Thursday after at least 30 people, including children, were killed in a gun and knife attacks on a day care center in northern Thailand, authorities said.
- Police said the suspect was an ex-officer. Adults and children were among those killed by the attacker.
- The government spokesman said all agencies were on alert and taking action to apprehend the killer before can escape to neighboring state.
- Police released a photo of the suspect, who was last seen driving a white Toyota pickup truck with a Bangkok registration plate.
