Wantaway Man Utd forward Cristiano Ronaldo is ‘expected to pass on’ an offer to join an unnamed club from Saudi Arabia, according to reports.
Ronaldo has made it clear that he intends to leave Man Utd this summer if a suitable offer comes in.
Ronaldo is absent from United’s pre-season tour of Thailand and Australia due to a family issue.

The club have repeatedly said that the veteran is not for sale and manager Erik ten Hag reiterated that stance earlier in the week.
Few could realistically afford Ronaldo, but a Saudi club is understood to have sounded him out about a potential two-year deal worth £211m.
That figure would dwarf any other player’s wage and could also see Man Utd receive a fee in the region of £25m.
But Ronaldo is expected to reject the proposal – perhaps no surprise given his desire to play top level football, with United’s lack of Champions League football a key part of his frustration.
Bayern Munich and Chelsea have been linked with him, though the Blues have decided against making a bid.
There remains no update as to when the forward will link up with Ten Hag’s side, who are currently in Melbourne, Australia.
Elsewhere, Ten Hag has backed returning Manchester United forward Anthony Martial to get “even better” in the coming weeks if he remains focused.
The Frenchman has lost his way in recent years and he spent the last few months of the 2021/22 campaign on loan at Sevilla.
Ten Hag appears keen to give Martial a chance to rebuild his Man Utd career under him next season.
The forward scored in Tuesday’s 4-0 win against Liverpool in Thailand and netted again as the Red Devils came from behind to beat Melbourne Victory 4-1 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
“I’m sure he can come back even better,” Ten Hag said after the first of United’s three matches in Australia.
“I think when he has the right focus and the right motivation and he works hard he will have production because he is a good player.
“I say when he has the right focus and every day delivers his max then he will have production and it’s up to him.”
