England will face Italy and Ukraine in qualification for Euro 2024.

The group stage was drawn on Sunday morning with the two teams who faced off in the final of the last edition once again paired up in Group C.

In Pot 2 following their subpar Nations League performance, England take on Italy and Ukraine with the top two teams qualifying automatically for the competition in Germany.

A potential additional play-off route will open up after the qualifiers depending on Nations League places.

North Macedonia, who ended Italy’s bid to qualify for this year’s World Cup in Qatar, are also in Group C.

Drawn out of Pot 5 to complete the group were Malta as England dodged a meeting with Northern Ireland, who were placed in a group containing Denmark, Finland, Slovenia, San Marino and Kazakhstan.

Scotland were drawn to face Spain, Norway, Georgia and Cyprus in Group A. Wales are up against Croatia, Armenia, Turkey and Latvia in Group D.

Republic of Ireland face a tough set of qualifiers in Group B, up against the Netherlands, France, Greece and Gibraltar.
