The Metropolitan Police Department reported a shooting incident at a recreational facility in Washington, DC, during the early hours of Sunday morning. Multiple individuals were injured in the attack, prompting officials to launch a search for a suspect believed to be involved.
According to authorities, the shooting occurred around 3:00 am near the intersection of 7th and P St., NW, close to the Kennedy Recreation Center. Metropolitan Police Executive Assistant Chief Jeffrey Carroll provided details during a media briefing, stating that the victims were swiftly transported to nearby hospitals. As of now, no updates on their conditions have been released.
"We urge anyone with information regarding this incident or who may have witnessed it to reach out to the Metropolitan Police Department," Carroll emphasized.
