2 Migrant Boats Sank off Greek waters, 15 Died
The coast security stated 15 dead bodies were recovered close to the island of Lesbos after a dinghy boat with approximately forty people was sank. Five people were saved and rescued. 3 were placed on a rocky outcrop close to the webweb page of the sinking.

  • "We could see the boat smashing against the rocks and people climbing up those rocks to try and save themselves.
  • Navy divers were also expected to arrive on Thursday.
  • Kythira is some 400 kilometres (250 miles) west of Turkey and on a route often used by smugglers to bypass Greece and head directly to Italy.
