Information reaching Intels News, After the New Commander 14 Brigade Nigeria Army read his riot act, the Soldiers moved and destroyed illegal refineries in Ukwa West Local Government Area in Abia State. The soldiers moved from one illegal refineries camp to the another destroying all illegal refineries located in the area.
A food vendor in the area that was interviewed by Intels News said she has not witnessed this level of destruction of illegal refineries by soldiers in years, that those who were untouchable before now, their illegal refineries was destroyed and set ablaze by soldiers.
One of the illegal bunkering workers who identify his role as cooker, told Intels News that he has not seen this type of operations in years, that they usually get information ahead of time, but in this case, there was no information, that they lost their pumping generators and other equipment’s in the operation.
One of the people interviewed, said they going to fight back, that they have their own connections at the top.
