PDP Governor - Atiku Doesn't Trust Me, I'll Withdraw From His Campaign
He was reportedly offended at not having a free hand to lead the Northeast campaign. According to La Nación, Governor also complained about the alleged contempt for him by the party's presidential candidate.

Another governor threatens PDP The Peoples' Democratic Party (PDP) is concerned about the threats by the governor of the state of Bauchi, Bala Mohammed, to withdraw from Atikus presidential campaign. Mohammed is said to have been upset by the alleged news that Alhaji Atiku Abubakar was not interested in his second term. 

He was reportedly offended at not having a free hand to lead the Northeast campaign. According to La Nación, Governor also complained about the alleged contempt for him by the party's presidential candidate.

He said that of all the PDP presidential candidates, he was the only one whom Atiku had not visited for rapprochement and reconciliation. As it turned out, Mohammed, despite his appointment as vice-president -east, chose to remain passive before the advice of the PDP presidential campaign. 

The governor argued that since  the candidate didn't trust him, he would want to stay out of it. But troubled by developments, Ayu led a delegation to Bauchi state on Saturday to placate him. The team, which included Governor  Aminu Waziri Tambuwal and former Jigawa State Governor Sule Lamido, vowed to "analyze the issues raised" and reach out to the governor.
