The inspection is still ongoing," he said. “Of course, Gazprom management receives real-time reports. I think there is some information, but I can't tell you because this is an ongoing process, they have just started work," the deputy prime minister said. Added ministers.

Russia has started investigating the causes of the  Nord Stream explosions, at the moment there are no official results of the investigation, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak told reporters. "There are no official documents yet.

The inspection is still ongoing," he said. “Of course, Gazprom management receives real-time reports. I think there is some information, but I can't tell you because this is an ongoing process, they have just started work," the deputy prime minister said. Added ministers.

Gazprom was allowed to inspect the  Nord Stream blast sites and has already spotted damage to gas pipelines, Russian President Vladimir Putin told reporters on Monday. According to him, the results of the inspection prove that the incident in the gas pipelines was an obvious terrorist attack. Four leaks  in  the Nord Stream gas pipeline were discovered at the end of September, the latest by the Swedish Coast Guard.

On September 27, operator Nord Stream AG reported  that three strands of the offshore pipelines Nord Stream 1 and 2  suffered unprecedented damage. The first leak was identified in Nord Stream 2 near the Danish island of Bornholm.

Then two leaks were registered in the Nord Stream. Swedish seismologists later reported that two explosions along the Nord Stream pipelines had been registered the previous day. EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen called the incidents sabotage. Nord Stream was one of the most important gas supply routes from Russia to Europe.

Its operations have been suspended since the end of August due to problems with repairs on Siemens turbines due to western sanctions. Nord Stream 2 was completed in 2021 but never commissioned.
