As preparations for the G7 summit in Hiroshima unfold, the office of the President of Ukraine is carefully examining the presence of President Zelensky. Deputy Chief of Staff to the President of Ukraine Igor Zhovkva said that the Ukrainian leader is considering the possibility of personally attending the  G7 summit in Hiroshima. However, the final decision will depend on the current battlefield situation, as  Zhovkva said in an interview with Kyodo News on Thursday.

While affirming that President Zelensky will participate in some capacity at the summit, Zhovkva stressed the need for a thorough analysis of the  situation on the Battlefield in order to make a final decision. However, sources in the Japanese government say Zelensky's direct visit  to Hiroshima is unlikely.
