Pastor And Members Attacked with flog by Masquerades

Masquerades invade Church during Service, flog Pastor, Worshipers

There was a mild drama at a church in Shikal village of Langtang South Local Government Area of Plateau State on Sunday as some masquerades invaded the church and flogged the church’s worshipers and their pastor. 

During the today’s service, the masquerades also reportedly destroyed the Church’s musical equipment.

A witness said the invasion of the church by the masquerades shocked the members, such that they couldn’t confront the masquerades, but rather gathered to salvage what was left of their church’s property.

Elders of the village are said to be making efforts to get to the root of the matter in order to restore normalcy.
