Russia Military Intensifies Airstrikes
Ukraine's Air Force said in a statement that at 7 a.m. local time Russia launched a "massive missile attack" targeting "critical infrastructure in various regions of the country."

Russian missile attacks hit power infrastructure in central and western parts of Ukraine on Saturday morning, leaving hundreds of thousands of people without power, Ukrainian officials said.

Ukraine's Air Force said in a statement that at 7 a.m. local time Russia launched a "massive missile attack" targeting "critical infrastructure in various regions of the country."

The Air Force said it  managed to shoot down 18 cruise missiles launched by Russian troops. Urging foreign capitals to increase Ukraine's air defense capabilities, Foreign Minister Dmytro 

 Kuleba tweeted: "There shouldn't be a minute's delay when capitals decide on air defense." Systems for Ukraine.
