THE FAILED ATTEMPT TO LINK GOV UZODINMA, HIS CSO, SUPO SHABA, WITH THE ARREST OF UGWUMBA UCHE NWOSU
It is funny and laughable that following the purported arrest of Uche Nwosu, on the 26th day of December, the former double commissioner for integrated ministry of lands, housing and urban planning and Chief of Staff to the former Governor Rochas Anayo Okorocha, hell has been let loose by those who are determined to link or even accuse the Governor of Imo state , His Excellency Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma, of sponsoring the arrest.
A close source to former Governor Rochas Anayo Okorocha confirmed to Intels News, that Sen. Rochas Anayo Okorocha have vowed to do everything possible within his powers and connection to remove Supo Shaba from IMO State House, further inquiry revealed Senator Rochas Anayo Okorocha have made efforts before now to buy over Supo Shaba without any success, prompting him to blame him for all his misfortune.
Nothing could be more amusing that the folly that our uninformed and ignorant citizens perpetrate at time where rather than look at issues critically and constructively, resort to mischief to score even with their political opponents
That for a very long time has been the bane of our society where citizens swallow hook, line and sinker, the gibberish fed them by political nimcom poops.One thing is certain, the police or any other law enforcement agency, has right and freedom to perform their duties in accordance with the rule of law and dictates of democracy.
The attempt by disgruntled elements who are busy looking out for avenues and reasons to malign or tarnish the image of the governor,is rather unfortunate and worrisome that people who are unintelligent and irresponsible, instead of pointing accusing fingers and holding the police and other law enforcement agents, were mischievously trying effortlessly to malign and castigate the name and office of the Governor of Imo state
It is therefore on this note that right thinking and discerning members of this society, and IMO state in particular wish to inform the society rightly that the resort to link the governor and more especially the Chief security officer (CSO) to the governor, Supo SHABA are being linked to the arrest of uche nwosu.
Official reports have since confirmed that the Governor of Imo state, His Excellency Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma, and SHABA as his Chief Security Officer were busy out of the state on the same date and time.
Almost everybody are in possession of a video which has gone viral on the social media since last two weeks concerning the call made to the CSO to the Governor concerning the arrest. Where the CSO asked who was the Oga that was arrested. That they should get a picture of him for clarity purpose.
Even Ogwumba Uche Nwosu confirmed it that a call came in from Shaba asking who is the 'mutuu' in Hausa language.. Mutuu' in Hausa means Person. 'Who is that person? by Shaba
This evidence alone exnorated the Chief Security Officer to His Excellency. Because he does not know the Oga that was arrested.
Independent investigations conducted in Owerri, Imo State, revealed no police from goverment house neither Supo SHABA was involved as being portray in the media, rather it was Police from State Command led the team that came from Abuja to arrest Uche Nwosu.
Rather than accept his fate with equanimity since as son in-law to then Governor Owelle Rochas Anayo Okorocha, Uche Nwosu who claims to understand hausa language more than the hausas, knowing full well that the game is up for him is clutching to any available thing to avoid drowning by accusing the Governor of I'mo state of sponsoring his arrest.
His allegations reminds us of the stock in trade of the so called rescue mission administration during which many career civil servants including Drs, Ihekwaeazu and Ihebereme were reported missing or known to have disappeared into thin air after an altercation and shouting match with top shots of the administration.Of course reports abound that Uche Nwosu, whether as Chief of staff to Governor Owelle Rochas Anayo Okorocha or as Commissioner for Lands, Housing and Urban Planning was notorious for evading police arrests especially when the issue of missing I'mo state bail of fund of #26.8billion was under investigation by the EFCC.
That is not all. Ever since his exit from office, attempts to arrest him for questioning over his activities and conducts had failed as a result of Uche Nwosu s elusiveness and temerity for evading arrest. It was therefore obvious that he saw his recent successful arrest coming hence the heavy presence of security men around him, hence their effrontery at confronting and challenging those who came from Abuja to arrest him.
Which other opportunity would have presented itself better to effect the arrest of Uche Nwosu than the very day at eziama obaire, where instead of respect for constituted authority,the former personal aide of Owelle Rochas Anayo Okorocha insisted on ignoring once more those who came all the way and have been on his trail for several years now within which period he has been hiding from arrest, claiming an unknown immunity from the office of the Senator representing Imo West.
It is therefore mischievous for anyone to link governor Hope Uzodinma or his law abiding Chief Security Officer, SHABA with the arrest which by every means was official and endorsed by superior personnel in far away Abuja.
Imo state government, to the best of our knowledge has nothing to do with the arrest and has no reason whatsoever to prevent or inhibit the police from Abuja carrying out their lawful assigned task, simply because Uche Nwosu once served his father in-law governor in several capacities
One thing that baffles most us is that Senator Rochas Anayo Okorocha and his cohorts forgot to understand the true meaning of politics.
Politics is like war, you do not continue to fight for fun or pride. When you are boxed into a tight corner, you either renegotiate or re-strategize. You don't continue to throw punches into an empty air in order cury favor, and/or, to show that you are firm, because a firmness in a position of helpless discomfort is actually infirmity.
For all right thinking and reasonable members of this society or any society at all within the global world are concerned, Uche Nwosu s false alarm and penchant for calling the name of the Executive Governor of I'mo state,His Excellency Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma, while linking with what he claims was plan to eliminate him, smarcks of the notoriety, recklessness and excesses that were associated with his in-law Owelle Rochas Anayo Okorochas now discredited administration.
Where decency was thrown abruptly to the dogs for eight years
This brazen assault and attack on his Excellency, Senator Hope Uzodimma and his Chief Security Officer, Supo Shaba should not arise. Rather they should thank CSO for informing the Governor who acted in a brotherly manner. Source close to the Governor confirmed that the Governor called the IGP immediately he was informed by his CSO that the arrest was done within the church premises to request for the release of Uche Nwosu, which facilitated his release. Until today former Governor Rochas Anayo Okorocha or his supporters have fail to mention this to the public.
