Russia Regrets That No Calls For Peace Were Made During Zelenskyy's Visit To The US Kremlin.
Unwilling to pay attention to Russia's concerns and that Washington is doing nothing to prevent Kyiv from continuing its barbaric bombing of the Donbass, Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, commenting on the outcome of Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky's visit in the United States.

The Kremlin closely followed Zelenskyy's visit to Washington and "acquainted itself with all incoming information."

Right now, we regret to note that neither President Biden nor President Zelenskyy have said anything that could be perceived as their possible willingness to listen to Russia's concerns," Peskov said. "Not a single word was said to warn Mr.Zelensky against the continuation of the barbaric shelling of houses in Donbass communities,” Peskov stressed. 

He also noted that “there were no calls for peace, not in front of TV cameras, but real ones. This suggests that the United States is continuing its  de facto  proxy war policy with Russia to the last Ukrainian. 

The Kremlin closely followed Zelenskyy's visit to Washington "to familiarize itself with all incoming information. On December 21 Zelenskyi spent several hours in Washington at the invitation of Biden.

He met  and delivered a speech with the US President and leaders of the US Congress. At a news conference, Biden said that he believes the Ukrainian president is "open to finding a just peace" in Ukraine, arguing that he believes the Russian authorities "have no intention of ending hostilities. 

When asked what his idea of ​​a "just peace" was, Zelenskyy said it meant that there would be no compromises on Ukraine's territorial integrity. Biden said  he saw 

 agreed with Zelensky and speculated there would be peace if Russia withdrew its troops, but "that's not going to happen now.

Zelensky  added that  he is currently unable to send a message to Russian President Vladimir Putin. Ahead of Zelensky's visit, the US announced a new military aid package totaling $1.85 billion. The Patriot air defense system & #40;the truck launcher, radar and control station).
